Cory & Brian

Cliffs of Moher, Co. Clare

Cory & Bryan traveled across the pond with their son Jake to have their elopement at the beautiful Cliffs of Moher. After capturing them getting ready at their accommodation we made our way to the ceremony location to meet Orla from Coastal ceremonies. The ceremony was intimate and was tailored to the couple including some stories of their lives together so far and a handfasting ritual (an ancient Celtic ritual). We then spent some time capturing some amazing footage at the cliffs before making our way to Doolin and finished up at the historic Doonagore Castle.

Leading up to our ceremony Mike had done amazing work on traditional weddings and we were lucky enough he chose us to test out his natural skills on our ceremony as his first elopement! If I wasn’t told this was his first elopement, I would have never known he hadn’t filmed one before. His goal was to let us have our moment, enjoy the scenery, take in everything while not being noticed. He did just that, he captured every moment of our day seamlessly. He was born to do what he does and it shows. Our wedding video is such a magical fairly tale. Some of the comments from family and friends include “could be a feature film” “my heart could explode” “perfection” “magical” “fairytale come true” “just wow” everyone thought they were watching a scene from an actual movie! With an elopement the intimate moments are what it’s all about. You don’t have the crowd to entertain, the dances, the bar, the speeches…. It’s about the couple, and Mike encouraged us to just be in the moment and then he did some magic and captured that on film. It just blows my mind that we can watch that film and it’s us! He worked along side Pedro with Pedro Souza Photogrpahy and they were such a great team we couldn’t have asked for a better day.
