Wedding Welcome Guide
Thank you so much for booking me to film your wedding celebration.
Here is a small guide I have put together that can help in the planning process.

Being engaged is such a special time in your lives and I’m so excited for what’s to come.
This guide will be your best friend as you plan and prepare for your wedding, and will allow you to know exactly what to expect during your wedding film experience. As always, feel free to reach out via email during my office hours (9am-4pm) weekdays and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
The Experience
Booking
Hopefully we got a chance to connect on the phone or a zoom call prior to making a booking. But if you are reading this you are already booked. So thank you.
1 Month Out
I will send a questionnaire regarding your wedding location and scheduling details – this gives me the opportunity to prepare based on how the day’s events are set to unfold. It would be great to set-up a zoom call or arrange an in-person meeting at this time to go over all the details.
Week Of
I will confirm the details from your questionnaires with you, making sure there have been no significant changes.
Day Of
Time to celebrate. I will follow your timeline as the day goes on, and document all the wonderful events that come to pass.
Delivery
After your wedding celebrations
are over, the editing process begins. I will have everything ready for you to view in approximately 16 weeks, at which point you’ll be able to watch your films online in a bespoke film gallery.

My Style
Emotive. Raw. Earthy.
I try not to get caught up on perfectly planted feet and cliché poses (Although I may capture some that work). What’s most important to me is documenting the raw emotions and organic connections between yourself and your loved ones.
The more I am able to learn about you as a couple, your family dynamics, and the reasons you’re celebrating in the way that you are, the more I will have to work with when creating a film that truly reflects your relationships.

All couples are different and I want your film to FEEL LIKE YOU!
Adventure Sessions
This is the first step of your experience with me which also makes it very exciting! There are three main goals of our time together (besides creating a gorgeous film, of course):
Spend more time together so we can get to know each other better before the wedding day!
For you both to learn a little posing so you’re PROS when your wedding day comes around!
Allows me to tell a better story overall.
Additional Tips & Ideas
Speeches
Ask for any speakers during the speeches or toasts to stand close to you (behind or to the side) as a couple. This allows for a more intimate scene and logistically is better for both your videographer and photographer.
Weather
Bring umbrellas and weather-appropriate shoes. I’ll still get great footage, so not to worry. But it is good to be prepared. We’re in Ireland after all.
Prep
During prep, pick a spot to get ready where there is lots of natural light. It can get crazy during prep which is normal, but trying to keep the room tidy is also a good shout.
Vows
During the ceremony it can be very emotional, but a good tip while doing your vows is to look at one another and not the officiant. It can be a tough one to remember but if you do manage to, it can really enhance the visuals.
